As the Director of Business Development, Ryan leads the business development recruitment program bringing new industries for East Baton Rouge. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Ryan graduated from Louisiana State University's E.J. Ourso College of Business in 2008 with a concentration in Business Management and Leadership Development. Ryan has previously worked for Partnership for Public Service in Washington, D.C. He is married to LSU alum and current Doctorate in Physical Therapy student, Monica Waddell Cooney. When Ryan isn't working on growing the economic base of East Baton Rouge Parish, you will find him on the golf course or tailgating for a LSU sporting event.
