FuturePAC is BRAC's Political Action Committee (PAC). FuturePAC's mission is to financially support issues and candidates that promote economic development in the Baton Rouge area and to improve the business climate of the region. FuturePAC primarily focuses on the following elections across the nine parish Capital Region:

• Louisiana State Representatives and Senators

• Parish Councils
• Public School Boards
• Parish Presidents

Types of Support
FuturePAC may support a candidate in one or more ways:

• Contributing to the candidate's campaign fund
• Publicizing FuturePAC's endorsement
• Providing advice on campaign organization and strategy

It also engages on top economic development issues that are placed on public ballot.

FuturePAC is an entirely separate organization from BRAC, but generally aligns itself behind those candidates that are supportive of BRAC's regional economic development positions. Decisions to endorse candidates or issues are reached only after rigorous examination by the FuturePAC Board of Directors.
