BRAC's governmental advocacy efforts cover issues at the national, state, regional, and local levels of government to protect and enhance our region's competitiveness.

Issue Councils
The Issue Council program enables BRAC members to get involved in the process of establishing issue-oriented agendas that guide our policy advocacy and related efforts.

FuturePAC
FuturePAC is BRAC's Political Action Committee (PAC). Its mission is to financially support issues and candidates that promote economic development in the Baton Rouge area and to improve the business climate of the region.

Research
BRAC aggressively conducts research on topics that impact economic development in the Capital Region. This research is used internally to guide and support BRAC's advocacy efforts and distributed externally to educate the regional community on important issues.

Learning Community
BRAC will articulate a vision and plan for the Baton Rouge area to become a learning community wherein the pursuit of knowledge is a lifelong goal and an asset that advances economic opportunity and prosperity in our region.
