FuturePAC’s Baton Rouge Area Transit and Loop Survey Results

In order to gauge Capital Region residents’ opinions about the transit situation in the Baton Rouge area, as well as their sentiments toward the proposed Baton Rouge loop, FuturePAC commissioned a survey in April 2009.  The survey was limited to the five parishes most likely to be affected by the loop: Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Livingston, and West Baton Rouge.
 
The survey, which was conducted by SCI Research, occurred between April 1 and April 7, 2009.  Fifteen hundred (1,500) total respondents were randomly selected across the aforementioned five-parish area, with 300 people chosen from each parish.  The opinion poll represented balanced strata of income and gender.
