Bill is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has 30 years of experience in the electric utility business, beginning with Gulf States Utilities in 1975.
Bill is in charge of Entergy's customer service in an area west of the city of Lafayette, east through Livingston Parish. Other duties include governmental, regulatory, and media relations. He also serves as a spokesperson for the company. Prior to joining Entergy Gulf States Inc. he was in advertising and broadcasting.
Bill is a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish BREC Commission and on the boards of the Louisiana Art and Science Museum, Baton Rouge Symphony, Academic Distinction Fund, and Louisiana Association of Broadcasters. He is the former Chairman of the Board of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber and the Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation. He is the recipient of the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters' Associate of the Year Award, the NAACP Community Service Award, and the Louisiana Emergency Response Commission Award.
