Robert Belk
Exec. VP/CFO – The Shaw Group, Inc.
Robert Belk is the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of The Shaw Group Inc. He has been serving Shaw in this capacity since October 1998. Prior to joining Shaw, Robert was the Chief Financial Officer at Ocean Energy, Inc. from 1993 until 1998. He was also engaged in public accounting with Ernst & Young as well as a partner in a local firm.
Robert graduated from Louisiana Tech and earned his Masters degree from the University of Houston. He has served on the faculty of the Colleges of Business Administration at both the University of Houston and Louisiana State University. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. He is a member of the AICPA, Society of LCPA's, and Institute of Certified Financial Planners.
