LSU's Center for Computation & Technology (CCT)

The Center for Computation & Technology (CCT), is an interdisciplinary research center located on the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. CCT advances LSU's Flagship Agenda and promotes economic development for the state by using computational applications to aid research and develop solutions that benefit academia and industry.

CCT is an innovative research environment, advancing computational sciences, technologies, and the disciplines they touch. Researchers at CCT use the advanced cyberinfrastructure-high-speed networks, high-performance computing, advanced data storage and analysis, and hardware and software development available on campus to enable research in many different fields. By uniting researchers from diverse disciplines, ideas and expertise are disseminated across LSU departments to foster knowledge and invention.

Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC)

The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) is providing visionary leadership and taking decisive actions to propel our community to a more prosperous economic future. BRAC is a non-profit, investor-driven organization with over 1,500 member businesses, civic organizations, education institutions, and individuals. Its mission is to lead economic development in the nine-parish Baton Rouge metropolitan area.

Baton Rouge Area Foundation (BRAF)

The Baton Rouge Area Foundation, a community foundation with $540 million in assets, provides two essential functions for the Capital Region. One, the Foundation connects philanthropists with capable nonprofits to make sure the needs of our communities are met. Two, the Foundation invests in and manages pivotal projects that can change the community. What's more, the Foundation is working with community partners from the Northshore to Lake Charles in creating a united economic corridor along Interstates 10 & 12.

Office of the East Baton Rouge Mayor-President

Louisiana's capital is poised to become America's next great city. Baton Rouge is the home of two great universities, a world-class biomedical research facility, and a downtown that is coming alive. The Mayor-President is the chief executive officer of the city and parish. He supervises and directs the administration of all departments, offices, and agencies of the government. He keeps the metropolitan council informed of the financial condition of the government, with recommendations for action; submits the annual budget to the Council; and performs other duties prescribed by The Plan of Government, ordinances, and resolutions.
