BRAC's BUSINESS GUIDE

Welcome to Baton Rouge Area Chamber's (BRAC) Business Guide. Two of the major focus areas of our regional economic development program are supporting entrepreneurship and assisting existing businesses in becoming more competitive. This Business Guide aims to support both of these efforts by serving as a single source for the information that a business owner needs in order to start, grow, and succeed. The Business Guide has the information you need to take your business to the next level.

The Business Guide is organized in two major sections: 1) how to start a business (e.g., writing a business plan, securing a loan) and 2) how to grow your existing business (e.g., marketing focus, utilizing state incentives). We've also compiled a list of resources from technical assistance providers to incubators and other facilities that can help businesses succeed. Finally, we've compiled a listing of events in the Capital Region aimed at training business owners on various topics.
